A Message from the Pastor

“WHAT DO WE SAY TO THESE THINGS?”

The world is in a quandary of confusion, divisiveness, disease, and turmoil.

Covid19 continually expands its net on the lives of those in our state. The sunshine seems to have left us in all but the heat of the day. Even nature seems to have turned her back on us, with a hurricane once again threatening our shores. So, my brothers and sisters I ask you what do we say to the things which seem to have no words to respond to?  What do we say when there seems to be nothing to say? Or as the Apostle Paul says in Romans 8, “What then do we say to these things?

What we must do is to allow the Spirit of the Lord to help us in our weaknesses. We must allow the Spirit to make intercession for us. We obviously don’t know what to pray for as we ought or as we should.  Therefore, we get out of the way of the Spirit and rest in Him. Knowing that all things work together for GOOD to those who love God. Those of us who are called according to His purpose. We use the Words of the Lord our God. We must know with a certainty that in all the things we are going through; we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Knowing that, NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD!
